AAM-Certified Permanent Makeup Training – New Jersey

Launch your career in Permanent Makeup with our AAM Fundamental Training Program at Orchids Permanent Makeup Studio in New Jersey. Led by a Platinum Trainer certified by the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM), this course meets the requirements for PMU certification in New Jersey and the USA.

This beginner-to-pro level program covers essential foundations like PMU theory, skin anatomy, color theory, safety protocols, and machine handling for Brows, Lips, and Eyeliner Tattooing.

Our program is divided into two parts:

​​✔️ Part 1: 100 Hours of Fundamental PMU Education
Focus on essential skills, safe practices, and core industry knowledge needed to become a certified PMU artist. Students will work on live models to practice the three basic PMU procedures: Brows, Lips, and Eyeliner.

✔️ Part 2: Supervised Internship
Complete 15 live procedures (5 Brows, 5 Lips, 5 Eyeliner) under professional supervision—a required step for AAM certification eligibility.

Graduates who want to refine or advance their skills after certification can also enroll in our Advanced PMU Technique Classes, available exclusively to Orchids graduates.
